United Way and Chatham County
welcome you to our joint application process!

United Way of Chatham County manages the administrative duties of the nonprofit allocations application process for Chatham County. However, decisions about funding are made entirely separately by each organization.

Eligibility:
United Way: Applicants must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization providing human services in Chatham County.
Chatham County: Applicants must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization providing services in Chatham County. For the 18/19 funding year, agencies must have been funded last year to be eligible to apply.

Application Submission:
The deadline for submission is 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 28, 2018. There will be no exceptions or extensions to this deadline. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.

Required Documents:
Whether you are requesting funding from United Way, Chatham County or both, two hard copies of the required Certification documents should be submitted to the United Way office by 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 28, 2018. Please label each document with the appropriate number in the top right-hand corner. They may be mailed to PO Box 1066, Pittsboro, NC, 27312 or delivered to the United Way office at 72 Hillsboro Street, Suite 202 in Pittsboro.
