Chatham County and United Way of Chatham County
welcome you to our joint application process!

United Way of Chatham County manages the administrative duties of the nonprofit allocations application process for Chatham County. However, decisions about funding are made entirely separately by each organization.

Eligibility:
United Way: Applicants must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization providing human services in Chatham County.
Chatham County: Applicants must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization providing services in Chatham County.

Application Submission:
The deadline for submission is 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 28, 2018. There will be no exceptions or extensions to this deadline. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.

Required Documents:
Two hard copies of the required Certification documents should be submitted to the United Way office by 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 28, 2018 in addition to uploading them through this application software. Please label each document with the appropriate number in the top right-hand corner. The required hard copies of Certification documents should be delivered to the United Way office or mailed to PO Box 1066 Pittsboro, NC 27312.

Receipt Number:
After you complete Section 1 you will be assigned a unique receipt number that will correspond with the subsequent sections of your application. Please make a note of your receipt number, as you will need to enter it on each section of your application.

Upon submission of each section, you will automatically receive an email that includes a PDF of the completed section. Please save each PDF to your computer. Section 9 of the application requires that you upload all PDF’s of the application, along with your certification documents. Your application is not complete until you have submitted Section 9!
