2026 Campaign: Give This Fall, Win a Weekend Getaway
Every gift helps us reach our Bold Goal of ending poverty for 2,000 neighbors in Chatham County by 2030. Donate $50+ or become a monthly donor to be entered to win a weekend getaway of your choice, valued at $1,700.
How it works:
- Make a donation – $50+ or become a monthly sustainer ($5+ per month) between August 1 and December 31, 2026
- You’re automatically entered, no extra steps needed
- One entry per donor, regardless of how many gifts you make or whether you give monthly or one time
- Winner will be announced in January 2027 once campaign has wrapped
This getaway is valued at $1,700 and can be customized to a destination and itinerary of the winner’s choice, working with our travel partner.

- Eligibility: age 18+, NC Residents only, United Way of Chatham County staff and Board of Directors are excluded
- Entry Period: August 1 – December 31, 2026
- One entry per donor; entries are drawn from donations made during the entry period, de-duplicated by donor
- Winner Selection: Winners will be selected at random using an online drawing tool, by United Way staff
- Trip planning services provided in-kind by Catherine Clark, Fora Travel
- Winner Notification: winner will be notified via phone or email February 2027
- Winner will have one year to use the trip
