Meet our new Community Impact Manager

Please join us in welcoming Madison Blucas, United Way of Chatham County’s new Community Impact Manager. Madison starts on Monday, July 20, and we could not be more excited to have her helping move our work forward toward the Bold Goal of ending and preventing poverty for 2,000 neighbors by 2030. We think you’ll enjoy getting to know her.

A little more about Madison:

Madison Blucas is thrilled to serve as the Community Impact Manager for United Way of Chatham County. Originally from Alabama, she moved to North Carolina in 2024 to begin graduate school at UNC–Chapel Hill, where she recently earned her Master of Public Health. She brings experience in research, service coordination, and community engagement through work with academic institutions, government agencies, and nonprofits. Madison is passionate about building partnerships that strengthen services, support collective impact, and improve outcomes for children, families, and communities so they can live their healthiest, happiest, and most fulfilling lives. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her partner and their two cats, reading, taking spin classes, and trying new restaurants.
